We don't want to recognize some facts, but the objective reality is stronger than our wishes: the racing season in Porsche Carrera Cup France comes to its end after all. The final weekend traditionally takes place on Paul Ricard autodrome in Le Castellet.

Oleksandr Gaidai perfectly knows the Paul Ricard track, and, what is more important, brilliantly drives on it.

O.Gaidai: "It's the track where i would like to drive. So we will see what will happen. Last year i missed 2 fp and started right from quali, hope this year will be more interesting in terms of performance..."

A.Jouannem: "I saw the results from the races last year, and you were very quick in terms of pace... I didn't know you missed 2 fp! Nice job!

The circuit du Castellet/ Paul Ricard is very pleasing to the eye with it's nice color scheme and setting. Really a great venue to finish off the racing season.

The circuit is rather short and comprised of few corners compared to the other tracks we've visited this year. However, that doesn't mean it lacks character or challenge. Quite the opposite. Some corners such as SIGNES and BOSSET are unique on the calendar and require very specific approach and mastery to get it "just right"!

As for me, I carry no expectations appart from enjoying the final race of the season and that will be enough have me leave with a smile to carry into the winter..."

So, the final weekend in PCCF will be a deliberate one (as for the schedule of course, not on the track) and will take three days.

On Friday, October 28, there are two 40-minute free practices, at 1:50 PM and at 4:30 PM. (Local time everywhere).

On Saturday at 11:05 AM the drivers participate in the qualification and have a rest till 4:10 PM when the first race starts.

On Sunday we expect the same regime: qualification in the morning, at 10:35 AM, and the second race (the final one) at 3:20 PM.

But the most charming fact is that just on October 30 in France the clocks are turned an hour back, to winter time. Not to become a victim of time paradoxes, we propose you to follow our news on Facebook, where we will constantly inform when the race will take place, what is happening in Le Castellet and why it is happening this way.

Another racing weekend. Another pleasure three days long. We look forward to it impatiently! So, stay tuned!
