We all have stereotypes: saying "fruit" we mean apple, saying "poet" we mean Pushkin, saying "racing circuit" we mean Le Mans.
Stereotypes have not still lost their verity, though.
It means that Le Mans is a special race for Tsunami RT. Besides, who does not consider it special? From 1923 Le Mans has been a place where a childhood dream can come true: one can have had enough of driving so that it will require a lot of time to come to oneself.
And before this astonishing yearly 24-hour realization of endurance dreams a support race takes place. Splendid Cup Porsches enter the track, ready to compete not for so long but not less bright and eventful race.
So, already on Thursday, June 15, the second Porsche Carrera Cup France round begins, where Tsunami RT Centro Porsche Padova is certainly heading with two our drivers – Alessio Rovera and Thomas Nicolle.
The Le Mans race format is not very usual: only one session but 45-minute long.
At 10:30 a.m. on Thursday (hereinafter the local time is indicated) the free practices start. The qualification is waiting for us at 3:30 p.m. of the same day.
On Friday, curiously enough, nothing related to PCCF is planned. However, on Saturday, at 10:15 a.m., do not forget your popcorn or validol, depending of what fits you better, and watch the live.
It is extremely interesting how the drivers will cope up with a 45-minute challenge, because it requires another tactics to preserve the tires, and it is not very simple to keep concentration during this time.
In brief, Le Mans promises to be very interesting. However, when wasn't it? It has been so since 1923, every year...
