Tsunami RT driver Côme Ledogar is one of the young talents selected to participate in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia Scholarship Program.
It is aimed at training and polishing of the skills required by a car manufacturer when it chooses a professional driver. It means that each Porsche Carrera Cup Italia Scholarship student has a chance to become a real professional in future. But the process requires a lot of efforts.
The drivers will be given the intense and all-round training. The best participant of the national program on the results of the season will go to the international elimination round, and a round winner will get the pass to Porsche Supercup and various pleasant nothings, EUR 200,000 budget included. By the way, our close acquaintance Matteo Cairoli was the winner of the last year.
So, Tsunami RT has ambitions on the three fronts simultaneously: besides the Italian and French Porsche Carrera Cups we will also focus on the scholarship program together with Côme Ledogar.
Our driver and his collegues are provided with the following within the PCCI Scholarship program:
- a complete and systematic program of coaching throughout the racing season;
- physical tests and mental training;
- thorough study of Porsche peculiarities;
- engineering training;
- and a lot of useful program parts including reduced entry fees, team building, media support, etc.
Now, before the first round at Monza, Porsche Carrera Cup Italia Scholarship participants just begin to get acquainted with each other. Let us also look at these young talents.
Riccardo Agostini and Japanese Takashi Kasai represent the team Antonelli Motorsport. Andrea Fontana will participate in the program as a part of Ghinzani Arco Motorsport team. LEM Racing Team will be represented by an international trio - Chinese Da Sheng Zhang, Italian Stefano Colombo and Finnish Aku Pellinen. Mattia Drudi will come out for Dinamic Motorsport. And Côme Ledogar comes to PCCI Scholarship Program with the colors of the Ukrainian team Tsunami RT!
Tsunami RT (may we stay serious for some time?) has been paying particular attention to the support of young drivers throughout all the period of its existence, from those times when it was only rally. And we are very glad that it's possible that a new Porsche factory driver will grow with our support. Anyway, he'll become a real professional with the "Master's Degree" in racing sciences.
In a year Côme Ledogar will have such an extent of knowledge that we'll have to keep him in a safe. As it hasn't happened yet, we are preparing for the start in Monza!..
