Of course, it is not simple to move from one country to another and compete on a new circuit every week. It is very interesting, though! So, we head for Vallelunga just after Le Mans. We will have something to remember!..

Originally, in this place the Circus Maximus in Rome (from 500 year a.c.) was used for circuit races, but whereas only 12 chariots could be positioned on the track, the decision was made to construct a more comfortable racing circuit in Vallelunga. It happened a little bit later, in 1951 d.C., but these are the details. Vallelunga circuit differs from the original track (that also had pit-boxes for chariots and horses, stands for viewers and a prize-winning podium) with the absence of obelisks and fountains with the statues of dolphins. The ancient Romans understood what was really important for a good show, and we have to practice in asceticism.

Porsche Carrera Cup Italia participants will meet exactly in Vallelunga (without fountains and obelisks) and fight for the prize-winning podium of the third monoseries round.

Tsunami RT will participate with three cars driven by Alessio Rovera and Carlo and Lino Curti.

Carlo Curti: "It's not one of my favourite tracks and I've never made great results there but I'm really happy to get back in the car and try this circuit for the first time with 911".

Alessio Rovera: "I think Vallelunga is not a special circuit, but I have good memories because I won my first racing car race !
Last year was not so good but I think this year will be different".

The weekend schedule is rather tense, but that is what we need: in a week after Le Mans and a week before Dijon, but let us not run ahead, let us cope up with the Roman race. At 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. of Saturday two qualification segments are scheduled: as usual, the first one is for all the drivers, and the second – for the top-8.

On Saturday, at 5:25 p.m. (local contemporary Roman time is indicated in all cases) the first race starts.

The second race of the weekend starts on Sunday, June 25, at 9:50 a.m.
