One and half a month passed from the previous stage of Porsche Carrera Cup Italy. It is more than enough to let the teams gather their thoughts, for pilots – to rally strength, for cars – to gather horse powers, for gearboxes – to gather gears and so on... And the main thing is that the break was needed for PCCI participants to miss the races so much to be ready to enter the track in Italy in the very middle of the summer. It is hot just to read the phrase!

The last year the race in Mugello was the joint stage of the Italian and French series. That participation added not only the cups in the Tsunami RT collection, but also gray hair to the mechanics of the team: both Oleksandr Gaidai and the second pilot of the team, Paul-Loup Chatin, escaped from the track on the same turn during the qualification, at that the French pilot damaged the car seriously. For all the rest of the day the team was experiencing the meaning of the expression "to sweat blood" and not figuratively. The result was tremendous – Chatin won the bronze in the French classification, and Gaidai won both races in Division B!
French participants haven't been invited this time, it was decided that there is plenty of excitement even without them. So, Tsunami RT and its pilot Oleksandr Gaidai will fight for the Italian classification points only. Vito Postiglione is the leader of the current classification after the two stages. Oleksandr Gaidai is on the sixth position in standings now.
