The end of the year is the time for gifts preparing, and in motorsports – for distributing prizes and awards. The prize-giving ceremony for Ukranian champions and Cup winners-2018 took place in Kiev.
Every season is like a mosaic composed of various tracks and races, victories and mistakes, events on the circuit and beyond it. Now, when the cars have a rest in the team boxes, and Mugello and Paul Ricard, Monza and Dijon, Imola and Spa are bored and waiting for the next season, we decided to put together our team hit parade of races of the season-2018.
In the years since ancient Greek theaters, having passed through gladiator games and horse races in Ascot, The Globe theater and the Olympic Games, Shurale ballet and sack race competitions, the main rule keeps on living and acting: "Show must go on!"
The Porsche Carrera Cup France came to its end. That was the season to have pleased the fans with the spectacular competition of the "major league" – the defending champion of France Julien Andlauer and the Tsunami RT driver Alessio Rovera. The last round with two races lies ahead.
Plots of most races resemble the tracks where they take place. Vivacious and energetic beginning of the weekend is a start. Unexpected problems that happen sometimes are a jam in the first turn. Controllable difficulties are groups of turns. A smooth running of a weekend is a finishing line. The rest is clear: either champagne on the podium or a blamestorming and an object lesson.
In whatever way the plot of the PCCI final round twists, it will be a glorious hunt!
The Tsunami RT - Centro Porsche Padova driver and 2017 Carrera Cup Italia champion won the first of the two weekend races at the circuit of Catalunya and finished 3rd in the second, keeping his hopes alive for the 2018 Carrera Cup France title, to be decided in two weeks time at Paul Ricard.
The last weekend of September is approaching which means that Porsche Carrera Cup France sets off on tour to Barcelona.
There are obvious things that do not require proofs. For example, it is inconvenient to sleep on the ceiling: the blanket falls down. Or it is inconvenient when two racing series rounds coincide, and a team has to split its energy between Italy and France. Or, for example, it is inconvenient to participate in motor races if you have broken your leg recently. As for the last case, unfortunately, we had to find it out the hard way.
Even the longest holidays come to their end. However, if you do what you love, you are not at all disappointed.
Remember, there were Every Flavour Beans in the Harry Potter: maybe you'll get an orange flavour, or maybe an inedible muck... The same in motorsports: it's clear that surprises await you, but it's not guaranteed that those surprises will be pleasant. This time we have got the 27 familiar turns on two tracks plus a completely unexpected turn of the plot...
It always seems after the vacation that you got snowed under the double amount of work. Sometimes it does not look like that, it is really so! Even if it is the best work in the world, I mean races, it will not be easy to withstand two racing weekends in one calendar weekend. Has it ever happened when Tsunami RT bowed to difficulties?
