No matter how we are overwhelmed with emotions after the PCCI final, we should acknowledge the fact that Porsche Carrera Cup France comes to its end: the final battle will take place already this weekend on Paul Ricard circuit.

Although our driver, Oleksandr Gaidai, prefers another kind of circuits, he succeeds in Le Castellet races well. The circuit provided to Oleksandr podiums and victories in Division B at various times.

Last year Paul Ricard hosted both the Italian and the French Porsche Carrera Cup rounds. Oleksandr Gaidai won the bronze podium in the absolute classification and demonstrated the best lap in the Italian round.

But Tsunami RT missed the last year French race because it preferred PCCI round in Monza that took place the same weekend. But that was the day when Côme Ledogar won the title of Porsche Carrera Cup France 2014 winner notwithstanding two penalties in the form of drive-through for false starts (we think he was rushing to finish).

Now the Porsche Carrera Cup France-2015 participants will gather in Le Castellet town. Matthieu Jaminet and Steven Palette may pretend to a title in the overall classification together with the leader of the current classification Maxime Jousse.

We followed the Division B classification where Oleksandr Gaidai competed. Unfortunately, the missed weekend in Navarre (that coincided with PCCI round in Misano) deprived our driver of the chance to win: not only two races of the 6th round of PCCF took place on the Spanish track, but, post factum, there was also the third one, cancelled due to the shower rain the first racing weekend of the season. Theoretically, the Norwegian driver Roar Lindland has a little chance to win in the Division B, but it is highly likely that Christophe Lapierre will celebrate the victory in the season on Saturday.

There will be two series of free practices on Thursday morning. Both qualifications are scheduled for Friday this time: at 3:35 p.m. and at 4:05 p.m. The Saturday race starts at 12:55 p.m., and on Sunday the starting signal light will be switched off at 3:25 p.m. for the last time in this season (local time).
