Monza opens the Italian Cup season as the last year. Côme Ledogar won the first race of the season-2015, followed by some rather curious decisions of the race direction... But it did not prevent Tsunami RT from winning the season in the team classification.
And here we are: Tsunami RT Centro Porsche Padova returns on the track near Milan. We remind that PCCI rules significantly changed this season, which will bring more unpredictability and add dynamics to the plot of the series.

Two vehicles in Tsunami colors will be competing driven by four drivers. We are glad to announce that Oleksandr Gaidai will be accompanied by Côme Ledogar on the racing circuits of the season-2016 again.
The news that Côme had become a McLaren factory driver invoked mixed feelings of our fans: from one hand, they cannot but be happy for the merited success and recognition of mastery of the talented driver, but on the other hand, the Ukrainian flag on the vehicle roof definitely fits this young French driver! So, we are glad to announce that it is possible to seat between two stools, rather, between two driver seats, that will be demonstrated by Côme Ledogar in the upcoming racing season.
Let us remind that Côme Ledogar is the PCCF champion in the season-2014 and the reigning champion of PCCI in the individual classification. This driver together with Oleksandr Gaidai brought the Champion's title in Porsche Carrera Cup Italia to our team. He is a high-class professional who knows how to work in a team. He is also a very good fellow who perfectly joined our funny team atmosphere.
It means that in the upcoming season the competitors in the Italian Cup will have to read the inscription on the back of his car when on the track: “Come back”… Côme is back! We are very happy about it.
So, Ledogar and Gaidai represent the first duet who will fraternally share one vehicle during three races in Monza. The second vehicle will be driven by the Canadian Mikael Grenier (of course, you understand that we needed namely a Canadian in our multi-national team!) and a young Italian driver Matteo Torta.
The format of three races within the weekend involves three eventful racing days. Already on Friday, May 29, after the morning free practices we will participate in the two 15-minute qualification rounds at 6:45 p.m. and at 7:15 p.m. One driver of a duet will participate in each qualification.
At 11:55 a.m. on Saturday the first 25-minute race plus 1 lap starts. Those who participated in the first qualification would drive the car during the whole race. The second driver will be waiting for his start at 3:40 p.m.
On Sunday, May 1st, at 3:00 p.m. the long race is scheduled: 45 minutes plus 1 lap. The change of driver will take place during the race, as in our favorite endurance races!
We anticipate the unforgettable weekend, and you will be able to find your own confirmations of it by watching the live broadcast on www.carreracupitalia.it, reading our news on Facebook and just being our fans. We will definitely feel it!
